Repeating tables, grids, rankings, amounts and addresses in forms

The SnagBane question types for real company forms — line items with live totals, rating grids and Likert scales, rankings, amounts in any currency, sliders, structured addresses, date ranges, consent and signatures.

Company forms need more than text boxes. SnagBane has repeating tables for line items, grids and Likert scales, rankings, amounts in any currency, sliders, structured addresses, date ranges, consent and signatures — all stored as proper values, so totals, conditions and exports work. All on every plan.

Repeating table

Line items — expenses, attendees, equipment — with text, number, date and choice columns, minimum and maximum rows and live column totals. A calculation like SUM({items.amount}) totals a column, and approval stages can use that total.

Grid (matrix) and Likert scale

Rate several rows on the same scale, with one or several answers per row. Likert scale adds a grid with the five agree–disagree columns in one click — the standard for engagement surveys.

Ranking

Respondents tap the options in order and can reorder by dragging or with arrows; ask for the top N only if you like. The summary lists options by average place and how often each came first; exports read “1. Price; 2. Quality”.

Amount and slider

TypeStored asShown as
AmountA number, with the currency you choose (any ISO currency)“1,250.50 EUR” — decimals follow the currency (none for JPY, three for KWD)
SliderA number between a minimum and maximum, in steps, with a unit (%, km, hours)The value with its unit

Both work in totals, formulas, conditions, summaries and SharePoint Number columns.

Address

Street and number, a second line, postal code, city, region and a country from the list (names in the visitor's language). Results and exports show one line, e.g. “Knez Mihailova 1, 11000 Beograd, Serbia”.

Dates

Date and time in one question, and Date range (from–to) for leave and travel: the end can't be before the start, and in calculations a range counts its days with both ends included — {leave} * 8 gives hours of leave.

  • Consent stores the exact text shown and the server's time of consent (“Accepted 2026-10-07 09:15 UTC”).
  • Signature — drawn with mouse, finger or pen, kept as a private image and included in printouts and PDFs.

Frequently asked questions

Can a repeating table drive an approval?

Yes. Total a column with a calculation and give an approval stage a condition on that total.

Do amounts keep their currency in exports?

Exports keep the number (so Excel can sum it); results and PDFs show it with the currency.
