Offboard people automatically

Enterprise plan: when a leaver request is approved, SnagBane switches off the account in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Okta or SnagBane and signs the person out everywhere. Accounts are never deleted, and administrator accounts are never changed.

Steps

  1. Give SnagBane the permission once: in Settings → Microsoft 365 click Re-run setup / change permissions and tick Create and switch off accounts (Google Workspace and Okta have their own step).
  2. Open the leaver form (for example the IT offboarding template) with an approval step, go to Connect apps and pick Microsoft 365 accounts under Accounts.
  3. Choose Switch off an account, insert the Person leaving question under Whose account, and decide about licences and the SnagBane account.
  4. Tick I understand that this integration changes real accounts, keep After approval and create it. Send test only checks the settings.
